This is an 18 karat yellow gold late-1800’s era brooch, convertible to pendant. This brooch features rich blue enamel with pastel colored roses in an octagon frame. The enamel is in remarkable condition. The frame is hand-wrought 18 karat yellow gold and scattered with prong-set genuine rubies and natural diamonds of very good quality. The pendant portion of this item is easily removable to create a temporary brooch. The clasp of the brooch works perfectly. This item is approximately 2" and weighs 19.6 grams (12.6dwt). This item is preowned and in excellent estate condition.
