Genuine Emerald and Earth-Mined Diamond Ring.  This is a smart-looking ring!  The 5.24 carat Zambian emerald is emerald-cut with truncated corners, making it an octagonal-shaped gemstone.  It is bezel-set in 14 karat yellow gold with  .30 carats of round, brilliant-cut, H-I color, I1 clarity diamonds in the shapely halo and raised shoulders.  The ring is US size 7 and has an approximate 2 mm shank and a swirled gallery.  This ring can be resized for an additional $100, please allow an additional 10 days for shipping if we resize it. This ring is appraised for $20,796.00 estimated retail replacement value.

Most Zambian emeralds are mined in the Ndola Rural Restricted Area, near the Kafubu River. According to GIA, there are over 400 emerald mines in this part of Zambia, but less than 10 are active.
