The rubies are prong-set and raised above 2.25 carats of round, brilliant-cut, G color, SI/I clarity diamonds that are set in the halos and drops of the earrings. They are approximately 1.5" long and attach to the earlobe with posts and friction backs. These en tremblant earrings move effortlessly, as the tops and bottoms are connected with a hinge. The backs of the earrings have a ribbed, supportive under gallery and bear the Orianne hallmark. This pair of earrings is certified and appraised for $18,740.00 estimated retail replacement value.

Rubies that have been diffused, or are glass filled are less expensive than natural rubies or "heat-treated rubies"
