This is a genuine, authenticated Spanish shipwreck treasure coin. This rare antiquity was recovered from the shipwrecked treasure fleet that sunk off the coast of Florida during a hurricane in 1715! This 1/2 reale was minted in Mexico during the reign of Charles II and weighs .6 grams. It is a grade 2 coin. The date and assayer are not verified because the centuries beneath the ocean have obscured the markings.
